William F. Flynn to Joseph W. Coburn
"Mortgage"
State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this the 26th
Alachua County } day of April AD 1883 between William F. Flynn
of the Town of Gainesville County of Alachua and State of Florida of
the first part and Joseph W. Coburn of the City of Boston County of
Suffolk and State of Massachusetts of the Second part Witnesseth That the
said William F. Flynn party of the first part for and in consideration of
of the sum of five dollars to him in hand paid by Joseph W. Coburn
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and for the purpose of further
and better Securing my promissory note of $25000 Two hundred and fifty
dollars bearing even date herewith given to J.W. Coburn payable twelve Months
after the date thereof with interest at 12 percent per annum until paid
I have this day granted bargained and sold and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Joseph W. Coburn the
following described real estate lying and being situate in Alachua
County Florida to wit Lots (13) thirteen (14) Fourteen (15) Fifteen and (16) Sixteen
of Block (5) Five Range (1) one of Ropers addition to the Town of Gainesville
as appears on the map & plat of Ropers addition lying and being in
section (4) Four Township (10) ten Range (20) Twenty South and East
together with all the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to same
belonging To have and to hold the above described property unto the
said Joseph W. Coburn and to his heirs and assigns forever upon
this expressed condition that if the said William F. Flynn Shall
well and truly pay or cause the within described promissory note at
its maturity and shall well and truly pay all attorneys fees and
costs of Court that may occur in the event of a foreclosure of this
mortgage which the said party of the first part hereby agrees to pay then
