                "Mortgage"
State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this 30th day
Alachua County   } of April AD 1883 between Peter Spann of the town
of Archer County of Alachua and State of Florida of the first
part and R.F. Taylor and E.C.F. Sanchez of the firm of Taylor and
Sanchez of the town of Gainesville County of Alachua and State of
Florida of the second part witnesseth That the said Peter Span party
of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Five Dollars
to him in hand paid by the said firm of Taylor and Sanchez
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and for the purpose
of further and better securing my promissory note of $500 00/100
Five Hundred 00/100 Dollars bearing even date herewith given too
the said firm of Taylor and Sanchez payable Six (6) months
after the date thereof with interest at 12 percent payable
semiannually I have this day granted bargained and Sold
and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto
the said firm Taylor and Sanchez the following described
land which is lying and being situate in Alachua
County Florida to wit South East quarter of North
West quarter section thirty two (32) Township ten (10)
South range eighteen (18) East containing forty acres
