Florida and described as follows towit That Lot situated in
Brush's addition to the town of Gainesville and bounded on
the North by Lot owned by Charley Perkins. On East by East
Main St On South by Lot owned by Sarah H. Austin
and on the West by residence of Adam L. Markey. Being
the East half of south half of North half of Block (7) Seven
Brush's addition to the said Town of Gainesville, Contain
ing (88) Eighty Eight feet North and South and (120) One
Hundred and Twenty feet East and West= Being amount of
land now enclosed on said East part of said half of said Lot
Together With all and singular the tenements, hereditaments
and appurtenances thereunto belonging. To have and to hold
the same unto the said F.P. Chamberlain and his heirs
and assigns in fee simple absolute forever. Provided. how=
ever and these presents are upon this express consideration
that if the said Joanna Magee and Henry Magee or
heirs or assigns shall well and truly pay or cause to be 
paid the sum of money covenanted to be paid by said note
together with the interest to accrue thereon according to the
legal tenor thereof, then this obligation to become null and
void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. And it is
hereby further agreed and stipulated that the said Joanna
Magee and Henry Magee will pay all expenses costs and attor
neys fees which the said F.P. Chamberlain may be put
to in enforcing the collection of the aforesaid sum of money
covenanted to be paid, by said note, by foreclosure or other
wise In Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands
and affixed our seals on this 15th Day of May AD 1883.

State of Florida } I hereby certify that on this 15th Day
Alachua County   } of May AD 1883, before me personally
appeared Mrs Joanna Magee wife of Henry Magee
the grantor in the foregoing conveyance, who being first
duly questioned and examined by me separate and apart
from her said husband says and acknowledges before me
that she did sign the said conveyance for the purpose of
releasing, relinquishing and renouncing all of her right
of Title in and to the land in said conveyance described
and that said relinquishment and renunciation of Title
was done and made by her voluntarily and without any com
pulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or from her said
husband and that the same is her separate property and estate
and that this is done for the benefit of her said property

For and in consideration of the Sum of Eight hundred and Sixty
four dollars to me in hand paid I hereby cancell and discharge
