and described as follows, Fifty acres more or less the same
being a fractional part of the North half of Sec 31 Town
ship Nine (9) South, Range 20 East To have and to hold
the above granted and described premises unto the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns to
his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever
Provided allways and these presents are upon this ex-
ress condition that if the said parties of the first
part shall well and truly pay his certain promissory
notes bearing even date herewith given to the said party
of the second part and payable as follows: One note
for One Hundred and thirty three 33/100 Dollars payable
on the first 1st day of Jan 1882, One note for One Hun
dred and thirty three 33/100 Dollars payable on the 1st Day
of January 1883 & One note for One Hundred and thirty
three 33/100 Dollars payable on the 1st day of January 1884
Each of said notes bearing interest from date at 8 per cent
per annum, according to the tenor of said notes, then
these presents shall become void, and the estate hereby
granted shall cease and utterly determine. In Witness

without any compulsion or constraint apprehension or fear
