Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that whereas I, Vastine Fralicks am engaged in the busi
ness of farming in Alachua County and whereas I am for the
purpose of carrying on business desirous of obtaining an
advance of general merchandise & farm supplies from
F. Cottrell & Co of Old Town Fla Now this instrument
of writing is for the purpose of declaring that I consent
that the said F. Cottrell & Co shall have the statutory
lien provided by the laws of Florida for farming & I do
hereby for said advances     made and to be made, give said
lien on my entire growing crop in said County of Alachua

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that whereas I am engaged in the business of farming
in the County of Alachua and whereas for the purpose
of carrying on said business I am desirous of obtaining an
advance of general merchandise & farm supplies such as
flour, meals, grits, coffee, Tobacco &c from F. Cottrell & Co of
Old Town Florida. Now this instrument of writing is for
the purpose of declaring that I consent that the said
F. Cottrell & Co shall have the statutory lien provided
by the laws of Florida for farming, and so hereby
for said advances made and to be give said lien on my
entire growing crops in said County of Alachua for the
year 1883. In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand & seal this
