AD 1882 and said advances not to exceed Sixty five
dollars unless the party of the second part so elect
Now therefore the party of the first part, in Consideration
of the above agreement and of the Sum of one dollar
to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby ac-
knowledged and for the purpose of the better Securing
the party of the Second part the said W.J. Epperson
for all advances made or to be made under the above a-
greement have granted bargained and sold and do
hereby grant bargain and sell to the said W.J. Epperson
party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever
all the Crops of every nature and Kind whatever that I
may grow on said farm the present year 1882 also one
one horse wagon. To have and to hold the Same unto
the said W.J. Epperson party of the second part
his heirs and assigns forever; and all the right
and title to said Crops and personal property
and interest therein, or either, the party of the first
part will forever warrent and defend to the said
W.J. Epperson party of the second part his heirs and
assigns forever. Provided Nevertheless that if the said
D.T. Trammel party of the first part shall on or before
the first day of November AD 1882 well and truly pay
to the said W.J. Epperson party of the second part
his heirs or assigns the full amount of money principal
and interest which may then be due by him to the
said W.J. Epperson party of the second part for advances
made or to be made by the said W.J. Epperson party
of the second part to D.T. Trammel party of the
first part under the above stated agreement then this
obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force
and effect. The party of the first part hereby further
agrees and binds himself that in case of the fore-
closure of this Mortgage to pay all costs of Court
Attorneys fees included. In testimony whereof the said
party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and
seal the day and year first above written

before me James M. Barco Clerk of the Circuit Court
in and for said County D.T. Trammell who acknowl-
edged that he executed the foregoing Mortgage for
the purpose therein setforth and expressed. Wherefore
