R.F. Taylor & E.C.F. Sanchez To Isaac Saunders

Alachua County   } Whereas we R.F. Taylor and E.C.
F. Sanchez are indebted unto Isaac Saunders in the
Sum of four Hundred Dollars by our joint and sev-
eral promissory note bearing even date with these
presents payable Four months after date- And 
whereas we are desirous of fully and effectually
securing the payment of said promissory note
Therefore the premises Considered know all men
by these presents that we the said R.F. Taylor and
E.C.F. Sanchez for and in Consideration of the
Said sum of four Hundred Dollars so owing by
us as aforesaid have granted bargained sold con-
veyed and mortgaged and by these presents do
grant bargain sell Convey and Mortgage unto
him the said Isaac Saunders all of that Certain
Lot tract piece or parcel of land situated lying
and being in the Town of Gainesville, in Alachua
County State of Florida particularly described and
known as being the South half of Lot or Block Nº
Eleven (11) in "Browns Addition" to the Said Town
of Gainesville lying and being in the North West
Quarter of Section Nº Five (5) in Township Ten (10)
South of Range Twenty (20) East Containing Five (5)
acres less fifteen (15) feet off of the East and West
sides thereof reserved for streets.
Together with all and Singular the tenements heredi-
taments and appurtenances to the Same belonging
or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold
the same unto him the said Isaac Saunders and to
his heirs and assigns forever = Provided always neverthe-
less and this instrument is executed and delivered
upon this expressed Condition that if we or either of
of us shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be
paid the full amount of the said promissory note
at the time the same falls due together with all in-
terest thereon to accrue according to the legal tenor
and effect of said promissory note then this ob-
ligation to become wholly null and void and of no
further use and effect, otherwise to be and remain
in full force and virtue. In Witness Whereof we have
hereunto set our hands and affixed hereto our
seals on this 26th day of January AD 1883
