George W. Holden To Walter G. Robinson
"Mortgage"
Know all men by these presents that I George W. Holden
of the County of Alachua and State of Florida am
justly indebted to Walter G. Robinson of said County and
State in the Sum of Two hundred Dollars ($200) to be paid
on or before the First day of September 1883 and evidenced
by promissory note bearing date on the day of 1883
Now therefore in Consideration of such indebtedness
and in order to Secure the payment of the Same as
aforesaid I do hereby sell assign transfer and set over
unto the said Walter G. Robinson two upright Engines with
their boilers now in Gainesville Florida which are owned by
me. Provided however that if the said debt be paid as
above specified this sale and transfer shall be void
and this grant is also subject to the following Conditions
The property hereby sold and transferred is to remain in
my possession until default be made in the payment
of the debt aforesaid unless I shall sell or attempt
to sell assign or dispose of the said property or
any part thereof or suffer the Same unreasonably
to depreciate in value: in which case the said
Walter G. Robinson may take the same property
into his own possessions. Upon taking said prop-
erty into his possession either in the case of default
or as above provided the said Walter G. Robinson
shall sell the Same at public or private sale
and after satisfying the aforesaid debt and the
interest thereon and all necessary and reasonable
Costs Charges and expenses incurred by him
out of the proceeds of such Sale he shall

complete satisfaction & final discharge of this
Mortgage this 24th day of March AD 1884.
