Sarah G. Campbell To H.F. Dutton & Co
            "Mortgage"
State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Whereas we Sarah G. Campbell
and Raphael Campbell are justly indebted to H.
F. Dutton & Co in the Sum of one hundred and forty
dollars which said sum of money is Covenanted to be
paid by our certain promissory note bearing even date
herewith for the Sum of one hundred and forty dollars
payable on or before the 10th day of October AD 1884
with interest from date at the rate of one per cent
per month the interest to be paid annually And
whereas we are desirous of fully and better securing
the payment of said note and the sum of money
mentioned therein. Therefore know all men by these
presents that we Sarah G. Campbell amd Raphael
Campbell her husband for and in Consideration
of the premises and of the sum of one dollars to
us in hand paid have granted bargained and sold
and by these premises do grant bargain Sell and
Convey unto the said H.F. Dutton & Co their heirs
and assigns all the following described piece parcel
or tract of land to wit: Commencing at the South East
Corner of Section Sixteen (16) Township Nine (9) South, Range
Nineteen (19) East thence North forty chains to half mile
line thence West Twenty five Chains thence South Forty
Forty Chains thence East Twenty five Chains to point
of beginning lying and being in said section Sixteen
Township Nine Range Nineteen S & E and Containing
by estimation one hundred Acres more or less.
Together with all and Singular the tenements hereditam-
ents and appurtenances thereunto belonging. To have
and to hold the same unto the said H.F. Dutton & Co
in fee Simple absolute forever. Provided however and
these presents are upon this express Condition that
if the said Sarah G. Campbell and her husband
Raphael Campbell their heirs or assigns shall well and
truly pay or cause to be paid the Sum of money Coven-
anted to be paid by said note together with the in-
terest to accrue therein according to the legal tenor thereof
then this obligation shall become null and void else
to remain in full force and virtue. And it is hereby
further agreed and stipulated that the said Sarah
G. Campbell and Raphael Campbell her hus-

For value received we hereby acknowledge full and complete
satisfaction and Discharge of this Mortgage this the 6th day October
