J.B. Wistar To W.A. Colclough

Alachua County   } This Indenture made and entered into this
the 17th day of May AD 1880 between J.B. Wistar party of the
first part and W.A. Colclough party of the second part both
of Alachua County Florida. Witness That the said J.B
Wistar for and in consideration of the sum of five dollars
to him in hand paid by the said Wm A. Colclough and
for the purpose of further and better securing his two
promissory notes bearing even date with these presents
each for the sum of two hundred dollars and being
for the balance of the purchase money of the Land
hereinafter mentioned has this day granted bargained and
sold and by these presents does grant bargain alien
sell and convey unto the said William A. Colclough
the following described lands to wit, all that certain
piece or parcel of land lying being and situated in the
County of Alachua and State of Florida commencing
at a post on the west boundary line of the Clinch
Grant. Situated at a point (12,50) twelve chains
and fifty links west of the half mile post on the
Eastern boundary line of section Seven run North
(4 3/4) four and three quarter degrees East along the
corner of said Grant line to a stake at the Florida Rail
road thence south __ __ degrees west along said Rail
road thirty five chains and Eighty links to a stake
thence due East twenty eight chains to the place of
beginning, containing thirteen and one half acres more
or less lying and being situated in the North East
quarter of Section Seven Township Ten South of
Range Twenty East To have and to hold the above
lands unto the said William A. Colclough and to his
heirs and assigns forever. Provided nevertheless that if
the said J.B. Wistar shall well and truly pay or
cause to be paid his two promissory notes herein above
described according to their and each of their tenor and effect
at Maturity then this Deed, as well as said notes to be
void else to remain in full force and virtue. In Wit
ness Whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto
set his hand and seal this the day and year above written
