dollars is Covenanted to be paid by our two promissory
notes bearing even date herewith and each being for the
Two Thousand five hundred dollars and bearing interest
from date at the rate of Ten per Cent (10%) per annum
the first of said notes being due and payable Three
years after date and the other one being due and
payable Five years after date the interest to be paid
annually.
And whereas we are desirous of fully Securing him
the said John L. Inglis in the payment of the two
said promissory notes together with the interest to
accrue thereon.
Therefore know all men by these presents that we
Laura L. Dell and John B. Dell her husband for
and in Consideration of the premises hereof and of
the Sum of one dollar to us in hand paid the
receipt of all of which is hereby acknowledged have
granted bargained sold and mortgaged and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and mortgage unto him
the said John L. Inglis the following described pieces
parcels tracts or lots of land situated lying and being
in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and
more particularly known and described as follows
towit:
A tract of Land Containing Eight hundred and fifty
two (852) acres and known as part of the Domingo
"Fernandez Grant" in said County and State aforesaid
and described by Bennett M. Dell: Therefore let a
line be run from the South West Corner "A" of John
M. Sanchez Grant perpendicularly upon the middle
line of the Fernandez Grant and let this be the
boundary line between Fernandez and Ledweth
beginning at the said line proceed by the West of
John M. Sanchez Grant around the NW Corner
thence Eastwardly sufficiently to embrace the share
of S.D. Fernandez and at this share be bounded by
a line running as near as practicable from the
North East Corner "B" of the aforesaid Grant")
Also another tract of land Containing Three hundred
and Seventy five (375) acres described as follows
lying in the County and State aforesaid to wit:
Three hundred and Seventy five acres of land
more or less lying in the County of Alachua in and
near the St Felasco Hammock being the same tract
of land which was partitioned and allotted to the
Said David L. Yulee by the Circuit Court in Chancery
