Alachua County } This Indenture made and entered
into on this the 1st day of March AD 1882 Witnesseth that
S.L. Brock in consideration of the Sum of Forty dol-
lars already advanced by and now due to the firm of
Turner & Butler of Levyville Levy County Fla by me the
said S.L. Brock by my note the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged and for the further Consideration of
one dollar in hand paid by these presents doth
grant bargain Sell and convey unto the said Tur-
ner & Butler and to their heirs and assigns all the
right title interest and claim of him the said
S.L. Brock my heirs executors and administrators
of in and to all the crops of Whatsoever species kind
or description now growing or which may hereafter
at any time in the future be planted grown or
gathered for me or by me or for my benefit on or
off of any and all lands in Alachua County Florida
until the debt hereby secured is fully paid also
the following described property to wit: one horse mule
Ten years old called "Buck" and this instrument is to
have the full force favor and effect of a Mortgage and
of a lien under the provisions of Chapter 1739 Laws
of Florida entitled an act to enable indigent persons
to obtain Credit and secure the lender. To have and
to hold all and singular the Crops and personal property
above bargained and sold to the said firm of Turner & Butler
their heirs executors administrators and assigns forever:
Provided Nevertheless that if the said S.L. Brock shall
well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said
Turner and Butler the full amount of the advances
made and hereafter to be made with their Charges for
Commissions and interest on the same then this ob-
ligation to be void else to remain in full force and
virtue and it is hereby further agreed that all amounts here-
tofore and hereafter advanced are due and payable
upon delivery of goods therefor and shall bear interest
accordingly and that this instrument may be enforced
at any time of the oblion of said Turner & Butler
and it is hereby further agreed that should it become
necessary to enforce this instrument by legal pro
ceedings the said S.L. Brock will pay therefor
all reasonable attorneys fees and charges. In Witness
whereof I hereunto set my hands and affixed my
seal the day and year first above written
