Sitting in St John's County in the Case of
Joseph Lawton and others vs Joseph J. Sanchez
S.D. Fernandez and others according to the decree
made and entered by said Court on the 28th day
of June AD 1850 at St Augustine and which
decree Confirmed the partition made by Bennett
M. Dell Thomas J. Prevatt and George Watson
Commissioners appointed for the purpose, which
said Three hundred and Seventy Five (375)
acres was part of a tract of six thousand acres
herein as the Fernandez Grant and is one half
of the interest purchased by said David L. Yulee
in the year 1839 from S.D. Fernandez the other
half having been sold to A.H. Cole.
Also a tract of land granted by Spanish Govern-
ment to John Sanchez and Subsequently Confirmed
by the United States said tract is more particularly
described in the Deed from Roman B. and Joseph
Simeon Sanchez to the Said Zilpha Standley of
December 27th AD 1849 and recorded in Deed Book
"A" page 206 & 207 to wit beginning at a Red Oak
Marked X.S. 25.95 Chs N 25 E of a line run S 65
E 26.46 Chs from the NE L of Frances R. Sanchez
Claim. Thence S 25 W 70 to water Oak Marked XS
thence S 65º E 57.50 Chs to Willow marked XS thence
N 25 E 70 Chs Corner in a deep pond. Thence N 65º W
57.50 Chs to place of beginning. Also lots 1 & 2 one and
Two of Section Twenty (20) Township Eight (8) Range
Nineteen (19) S & E Containing one hundred and twenty
nine Acres. And also Lots one (1) Two (2) Three (3) four
(4) Five (5) amd Six (6) of section Nineteen (19) Township
Eight (8) Range Nineteen (19) S & E Containing Three
hundred and Sixty (360) acres. And also all other
lands Conveyed by Penelope L. Standley to Louisa
L. Dell by Deed duly recorded in Deed Book
"H" at pages 819 & 820 public records of Alachua
County However Saving and excepting from All
above described lands five hundred acres of
land heretofore sold by Louisa L. Dell to Livonia
E. Hunter as trustee for the Children of James W.
Standley on the 16th day of June AD 1881 and
recorded in Deed Book "M" at pages 574 & 575 des-
cribed as follows to wit: all that part of a Certain
piece or parcel of land Conveyed to the said Louisa
L. Dell by Penelope L. Standley on the 31st day of
July AD 1872 and recorded in Book "H" page
819 on 7th day of Aug 1872 lying East of the fol-
lowing lines to wit: Commencing at the North West
