The said Julia D. Finley and Samuel Y. Finley her hus-
band for and in Consideraion of the premises and of
the sum of one Dollar to us in hand paid have
granted bargained and sold and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and Convey unto the said
James R. Crawford and to his heirs and assigns
for the following described piece parcel or tract of
land to wit: Situated lying and being in the Town
of Gainesville in Alachua County State of Florida
more particularly known and described as Lot Number
One (1) in Block Number One (1) of Range Number
(4) four in Ropers addition to said Town of Gaines-
ville according to the map thereof it being the Same
lot of land sold and Conveyed by Solomon F.
Halliday by deed dated 24th May 1882 and
recorded in Deed Book "N" of the records of
said County of Alachua on pages 556 & 557 to
Leonard G. Dennis and by the said Leonard G. Den-
nis to said Julia D. Finley subsequently to wit on
the 24th March 1883 = and Containing one Acre
of Land more or less - Together with all and Sin-
gular the tenements hereditaments and appurten
ances thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the
Same unto the Said James R. Crawford and to
his heirs and assigns in fee Simple absolute
forever. Provided however and these presents are
upon this express Consideration that if the said
Julia D. Finley and Samuel Y. Finley or their heirs
or assigns shall well and truly pay or Cause to be paid
the Sum of money covenanted to be paid by said note
together with the interest to accrue thereon according to
the legal tenor thereof then this obligation shall be-
come null and void else to remain in full force and
virtue. And it is hereby further agreed and Stipulated
that the said Julia D. Finley and Samuel G. Finley will
pay all expenses Costs and attorneys fees which the
Said James R. Crawford may be put to in enforcing the
Collection of the aforesaid Sum of money Covenanted to be
paid by said note by foreclosure or otherwise. In
Witness Whereof we have hereunto set our hands and
affixed our seals on this 20th day of July AD
