hold all and singular the crops lands and person
al property above bargained and sold unto the said
Wheeler & Wilson Mfg Co their heirs executors admin
istrators and assigns forever provided nevertheless that
if the said Wm & M. Young should well and truly pay
or cause to be paid unto the said Wheeler & Wilson Mfg
Co the full amount of the advances heretofore made
with the charges for commissions and interest to the
same then this obligation to be void else to rem
ain in full force and virtue and it is hereby further
agreed that should it become necessary to enfor
ce this instrument by legal proceedings the said
Wm & A. Young will pay therefor all attorneys fees
charges and expenses In witness whereof we have
hereunto set our hand and affixed our seal

On or before the first day of August in 1884 I promise
to pay to Thos C. Ellis or bearer two hundred and fifty
$250.00 it being the balance due on a certain piece
or parcel of land sold to me by the said Thos C. Ellis con
taining Twenty acres lying and being in the South
East corner as described in this deed made to me
in Section 29 Township nine Range 20 and I hereby
waive all right to Homestead & Exemption with Interest
at ten per cent from this date }
