and apart from her husband the Said James
A. Carleton did then and there make and ex-
ecute the foregoing acknowledgement her name
being with her own hand Subscribed and her Seal
affixed in my presence.

This Indenture and entered into on this
9th day of August AD 1883 by and between Thomas J.
May of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
party of the first part and James R. Crawford
of the Same place party of the Second part
Witnesseth: That the said party of the first part
for and in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred
and ninety dollars to him cash in hand paid by
the party of the Second part at and before the
Signing and Sealing hereof the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained Sold
and Conveyed and doth hereby grant bargain Sell
Convey and Confirm unto the Said party of the Second
part and to his heirs and assigns forever all and
every of my growing Crops of Corn and Cane grown or
to be grown upon any and all lands in Alachua
County Florida during the present year or during 
any Subsequent year by myself or in my behalf
