Alachua County   } This Indenture made and entered
into on this 3d day of August AD 1883 witnesseth
that John T. Spriggs and E.M. Spriggs in consider-
ation of the sum of Four Hundred Dollars ($40000}
already advanced by and now due to Hardy Rauler-
son and George H. Ambrose partners & merchants
Trading in the Town of Waldo in Alachua County
Florida under the firm name of Raulerson and Amb
rose by the said John T. Springs & E.M. Spr
ings the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and
for the further consideration that the said Rauler
son and Ambrose shall and will make such further
reasonable amount of advances of provisions mer
chandise and plantation supplies as may be neces
sary to enable the said John T. Spriggs and E.M.
Spriggs to make harvest and prepare for market
Their crops of all kinds during the year AD 1883
such further advances not to exceed the sum of
Five Hundred Dollars and for the further consid
eration of One Dollar in hand paid by these presents
doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
Raulerson & Ambrose and to their heirs and assigns
all the right title interest claim & demand of them
selves the said John T. Spriggs & E.M. Spriggs their
heirs executors and administrators of in and to all
of Their and Each of Their crops of Every description
growing or to be grown by them during the present=
year or any subsequent year or grown for their
benefit on or upon any lands owned controlled
or cultivated by them or on their behalf in

and forever discharge and aquit this mortgage in full
