This Indenture made this 2nd day of August in the year
of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and Eighty three Bet
ween William B. Lipsey of Archer County of Alachua of the
first part and Wm Edwards of the second part whereas
the said William B. Lipsey is justly indebted to William
Edwards of the second part in the sum of one thousand
Dollars lawful money of the United States of America with
interest at ten percent payable semi annually now
this Indenture witnesseth that the said party of the first
part for the better securing the payment of the said sum
of money mentioned in note at hand of even date here
with and also for and in consideration of the sum of
one thousand Dollars to him in hand paid by the said
party of the second part at or before the ensealing and de
livery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknow
ledged has granted bargained sold aliened remised releas
ed conveyed and confirmed and by these presents so grant
bargain sell alien remise release convey and confirm unto
the said party of the second part and his heirs and
assigns forever all that certain tract or parcel of land
situated and lying in the County of Alachua State of
Florida being the W1/2 of the NE1/4 of the NW1/4 of sec
21 T 11 R 18 containing 20 A more or less together
with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise apper
taining and the reversion and reversions remainder and
remainders rents issues profits thereof and also all
the estate right title interest in said property poss
ession claim and demand whatsoever as well in law
as in equity of the said party of the first part of
in and to the same and every part and parcel thereof
with the appurtenances To have and to hold the
above granted and described premises unto the
said party of the second part his heirs and ass
igns his own proper use benefit and behoof forev
er provided always and these presents are on this
express condition that if the said William B. Lipsey
or his heirs executors or administrators shall well and
truly pay unto the said party of the second part his
heirs executors or administrators or assigns the said
sum of money one thousand Dollars with interest
according to the true intent and meaning thereof to
gether with all costs charges and expenses includ
ing reasonable attorneys fees and commissions which
the said party of the second part may incur or be
put to in collecting the same by foreclosure or other

For and in Consideration of the full payment of the Sum of money Secured to be paid by this mortgage
to me in cash paid as administratrix of the Estate of William Edwards deceased I do hereby cancel
and discharge the same from record this April 4th AD 1892
