        T.R. Bennett To G.K. Broom
                   Mortgage
State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Know all men by these
presents that whereas T.R. Bennett of the
above State and County is indebted to G.K Broom
of the same State and County in the sum of
One Hundred dollars which the said sum is
covenanted to be paid by his certain promissory
note bearing date March 1st 1883 and for the
said sum of one hundred dollars having interest
at the rate of 10 cents on the Dollar to the 1st
October next now therefore to better secure the
payment of said note and interest as expressed
therein I do by these presents grant bargain
sell and convey unto the said G.K. Broome his
heirs and assigns all my right title interest
and claim of in and to all crops of whatsoever
species kind or description now growing or which
may hereafter be planted grown or gathered by
me or for me or for my benefit on or off of any and and
all lands in Alachua County Florida Also the foll
owing described property to wit One Blaze Face
Horse about six years old named Jeff To
Have and to hold all and singular the crops lands
and personal property above bargained and sold
unto the said G.K. Broome the full amount of said note
Together with the interest according to its tenor
and effect then this instrument to be void else
to remain in full force and virtue and it is here
by further agreed that should it become necess
ary to enforce this instrument by legal proceedings
the said T.R. Bennett will pay therefore all attorneys
fees and expenses In witness whereof I have here
unto set my hand and affixed my seal this

For and in Consideration of the full payment of the sum of Money secured to be paid 
by this Mortgage I hereby cancel and discharge the same from records this March
18th 1890
