       Charlot Knox To J.O. Cosby

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
That I Charlotte E. Knox of the State and County afore
said party of the first part for and in consider
ation of the sum of three hundred dollars have
given granted bargained sold and conveyed and by
these presents does give grant bargain sell and
convey unto J.O. Cosby party of the second part of the
State and County aforesaid the following described
lot or parcel of land lying and being situated as foll
ows To wit The west half of the South west quar
ter 1/4 of the South west quarter 1/4 of section thirty
(30) Township Eleven (11) and Range twenty one (21) East
To Have and to hold unto him the said John O. Cosby his
heirs and assigns for their own proper use and benefit
forever Conditional however that if the said Charlotte
E. Knox shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid
to the said J.O. Cosby the sum of three hundred dollars
corresponding with three promissory notes of One hundred
dollars Each bearing ten per cent interest from date of
this Mortgage the first note given April 6th and due
December the 6th AD 1883 the second note given April 6th 1883 and
due February 6th 1884 The third note given April 6th 1883
and due April 6th AD 1884. Then this obligation to be null and
void if not paid to remain in full force and virtue In witness
whereof the party of the first part has hereunto set her hand
and seal on this the sixth day of April AD 1883.
