  Willis Parker To Ellen P. Allen
                 "Mortgage"
State of Florida } Whereas Willis Parker of the State and County aforesaid is
Alachua County   } Justly indebted to Ellen P. Allen of the City County
and State of New York in the sum of Two Hundred and fifty Dollars
which said sum of money is covenanted to be paid by one certain
tract of land hereunto described and payable on or before August 13"
1885 and whereas being desirous of fully and better securing the
payment of said note and the sum of money mentioned therein
Therefore know all men by these premises and of one dollar to
me in hand paid have granted bargained sold and conveyed and
by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
Ellen P. Allen of the State and County aforesaid and to her heirs
and assigns all the following described piece parcel or tract of
land situated lying and being in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida to wit Ten Acres the same being a fractional
portion of the North half of Section (31) Thirty one Township (9) Nine
Range (20) Twenty East beginning at the middle of said section
on the western boundary and running North two hundred and
forty seven and one half (247 1/2) Yards: Thence East one hundred and
Ninety five and five ninths (195 5/9) Yards: thence South two hundred
and forty seven and one half (247 1/2) yards and thence West one
hundred and ninety five and five ninths (195 5/9) yards to the place of
beginning being the property conveyed by H.A. Lackey & wife to
Ellen P. Allen under deed dated February 12 1878 and recorded in
Deed Book "K" page 310 June 19" 1878 and by Ellen P. Allen to
Willie Parker by deed dated June 29" 1883. Together with all
and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to
the same belonging or in any wise appertaining. To Have and
to Hold the same unto the said Ellen P. Allen her heirs and
assigns forever Provided however and these presents are upon this
Express condition that if the said Willie Parker his heirs or
