Vaughn heirs executors administrators and assigns forever
Provided nevertheless that if the said Sam Vaughn the full amount of
said note together with the interest according to its tenor and effect
then this instrument to be void Else to remain in full force and virtue.
And it is hereby further agreed that should it become necessary to enforce
this instrument by legal proceedings the said W.H. Traxler will pay
therefore all attorneys fees charges and expenses. In Witness Whereof I

Joseph Simonson to Grace E. Keeler
Mortgage
State of Florida } Whereas I Joseph Simonson and Justly indebted
Alachua County } to Grace E. Keeler in the sum of Two hundred
and fifty dollars which said sum of money is covenanted to be paid
by one certain promissory note bearing even date herewith for the sum
of Two hundred and fifty dollars and payable at Twelve months
after date with interest from date at the rate of 8% per annum
until paid and whereas I am desirous of fully and better securing
the payment of said note and the sum of money mentioned therein
Therefore know all men by these presents that I Joseph Simonson
for and in consideration of the premises and of the sum of One
dollar to me in hand paid have granted bargained and sold and
by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the
said Grace E. Keeler her heirs and assigns all the following
described piece parcel or tract of land to wit: Lying in the City
of Gainesville commencing at a point Five hundred feet East
from the North West corner of Block Seven (7) Range five (5)
now owned by L.G. Dennis thence South one hundred feet
five
thence East one hundred and seventy^feet more or less to Sweet
water Branch thence North along said Branch one hundred
