and Interest the said sorrel mare and pledge myself not to part
with sell or Swap said mare without the written Consent or permission
of said Bevill and if I Should part with the possession of said
mare then this obligation is due and payable and he shall have
full power to seize said Mare and foreclose this instrument of
Mortgage and to further secure him in the payment of said sum
and Interest I hereby mortgage a Brindle ox with Bob tail and
I also Mortgage and Pledge all the crops to be raised by me during
the year AD 1884 for the satisfaction of said demand and Should
it be necessary to foreclose this instrument by legal process I agree
to pay therefor all reasonable attornies fees and charges and upon
payment by me of the above claim then this obligation to be
null and void Else to remain in full force and virtue. In testimony

"Mortgage"
State of Florida } Whereas Samuel Abbott is Justly indebted
Alachua County } to Annie B. Cloud of the City of Philadelphia
State of Pennsylvania in the sum of Five hundred Dollars which said
sum of money is covenanted to be paid by his certain promissory note
bearing even date herewith for the said sum of Five hundred
dollars due and payable one day after date with interest from date at
the rate of Ten (10%) per cent per annum And Whereas I am desirous
of fully and better securing the payment of said note and the sum
of money mentioned therein. Therefore know all men by these presents
that I Samuel Abbott for and in consideration of the premises and
of one dollar to me in hand paid have granted bargained sold and
conveyed and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey
