and Estate of the said Lucy H. Eastman wife of
the said John C. Eastman as evidenced by their joint
promissory note of Even date herewith made pay
able to Mrs Margaret L. Abbott or order three
years after date with interest from date until paid
at the rate of 10% per annum payable quarterly 
at the end of each quarter Now this Indenture wit
nesseth that the said parties of the first part for
the better securing the payment of the said sum
of money mentioned in the said promissory note
and also for and in consideration of the sum of
