Alachua County } Know all men by these presents
that Whereas John W. King of the above County and
State is indebted to H. Warner of the Same State and
County in the sum of $5000 fifty Dollars which the
said Sum is covenanted to be paid by us Certain
promissory note bearing date May 11th 1883 and for the
said sum of Fifty Dollars bearing interest at the
cent
rate of 1^per cent Month now therefore to better secure
the payment of said note and interest as expressed
therein we do by these presents grant bargain Sell
and Convey unto the said H. Warner his heirs and
assigns all my right title interest and Claim of in
and to all crops of whatsoever species kind or descrp-
tion now growing or which may hereafter be planted
grown or gathered by me or for me or for my benefit
on or off of any and all lands in Alachua County
Florida Also the following described property to wit:
One Two year old horse Colt Color dark Bay
To have and to hold all and singular the crops
lands and personal property above bargained and
Sold unto the said H. Warner his heirs executors
administrators and assigns forever. Provided never-
theless that if the said John W. King should well
and truly pay or cause to be paid into the said H.
Warner the full amount of said note together
with the interest according to its tenor and effect
then this instrument to void else to remain in full
force and virtue
And it is hereby further agreed that should it become
necessary to enforce this instrument by legal proceedings
the said John W. King will pay therefor all attorneys fees
and expenses. In Witness whereof we have hereunto set
our hand and affixed our seal this 11th day of May
