Singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining. To
have and to hold the same unto him the said Calvin
Gillis his heirs and assigns forever. Provided however
and these presents are upon this express Condition
that if the said James N. Bone his heirs or assigns
shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid the sum
of money covenanted to be paid by said note together
with the interest to accrue thereon according to the legal
tenor and effect thereof then this obligation shall become
null and void otherwise to remain in full force and
virtue And it is hereby further agreed and stipulated 
that the said Bone his heirs or assigns will pay all
Costs expenses and attorneys^and solicitors^fees which the
said Calvin Gillis may reasonably have to pay or
may be put to in enforcing the Collection of the afore-
said sum of money covenanted to be paid by said
note by foreclosure or otherwise and will pay all
taxes without default that have or may be assessed
on said land while subject to this mortgage.

thereof to be his free act and deed for the uses and
purposes therein mentioned
