Herbert E. Lindsley To Robert F. Tracey
                Mortgage
To all the People to whom these presents shall Come
Greeting. Know Ye that I Herbert E. Lindsley of the
town of Hartford County of Hartford and State of Con-
necticut for the Consideration of the sum of One
hundred dollars received to my full satisfaction
of Robert F. Tracey of the County of Alachua and
State of Florida do give grant bargain sell and Confirm
unto the said Robert F. Tracey a Certain tract or parcel of
land lying and being in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida and described as follows viz
Commencing at the North West Corner of Sect 31
Town Eight S Range 22 East and running thence 
East Sixty five yards or 195 feet thence South Eighty
rods thence West Sixty five yards thence North on
section line Eighty rods to the place of beginning
Containing six acres of land more or less being a
part of the NW Quarter of the NW Quarter Sect 31 T 8
R 22 E. To have and to hold the above granted
and bargained premises with the appurtenances
thereof unto him the said grantee his heirs and
assigns forever to his and their own proper use and
behoof. And also I the said grantor do for myself
and heirs executors and administrators covenant
with the said grantee his heirs and assigns that
at and until the ensealing of these presents I
am well seized of the premises as good in-
defeasible estate in Fee Simple and have good
right to bargain and sell the same in manner
and form as is above written; and that this Same
is free from all incumbrances whatsoever.
And furthermore I the said grantor do by these pres-
ents bind myself and my heirs forever to warrant
and defend the above granted and bargained premises
to him the said grantee his heirs and assigns
against all claims and demands whatsoever.
The Condition of this deed is such, That Whereas the
said grantor is justly indebted to the said grantee
in the Sum of One hundred Dollars as evidenced
by his promissory note of even date herewith
payable to the said grantee or order one year
after sale with interest. Now Therefore if said
note shall be well and truly paid according
to its tenor then this deed shall be void
otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
