in each from date thereof at the rate of Eight
percent per annum made and executed by the
parties of the first part to the party of the second
part for the balance of the purchase money of
the land hereinafter mentioned the said parties of
the first part do by these presents bargain sell and
mortgage unto the said party of the second part all
that Certain lot piece tract or parcel of land situated
lying and being in the County of Alachua in the state
of Florida particularly known and described as follows
to wit: Lying and being in the South East Quarter of
Section (4) Four in Township Ten (10) South of Range
Twenty (20) East and more particularly described as
follows: to wit: Commencing at the point where the
Atlantic Gulf and West India Transit Companys
Rail Road Crosses the West prong of the East Fork
of Sweet Water Branch and running North (26º} Twenty
Six degrees East along the line of said Rail Road
(16) Sixteen Chains - thence South (51º} Fifty one degrees
East Ten (10) Chains and Fifty links to the middle of the
run of the East prong of Sweet Water Branch thence
down the run of said Branch (the average bearing
being South Forty Five (45º) degrees West) Twelve
Chains Thence North Seventy Seven degrees (77º) West
Eight Chains to the point of beginning being land
formerly bought by the said party of the second part
from Charles D. Furman Containing by estimation
Twelve & 95/100 acres of land more or less To have and to
hold unto the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns in fee Simple title upon the following
express Condition: viz: That if the said parties of the first
part or any of them shall pay or Cause to be paid the
above described promissory notes according to their
true tenor and effect then this indenture as well as
said promissory notes Shall become void and of no
effect. Else the same shall remain valid and
