 J.H. Reitzel To J.L. Crisman

State of Florida }
Alachua County   } Whereas J.H. Reitzel of the County
of DeKalb State of Indiana is justly indebted to
J.L. Crisman of the County of Alachua State of
Florida in the Sum of Eleven hundred and fifty
dollars which said Sum of money is Covenanted to be
paid by one certain promissory note bearing even date
herewith and in words and figures as follows
$1150 00/100 On or before the __day of August 1893  I
promise to pay to J.L. Crisman or order the Sum of Eleven
hundred and fifty dollars with interest at 8 per cent
payments in installments Can be made at any date
And whereas he is desirous of fully and better Securing
the payment of Said note and the Sum of money man-
tioned therein Therefore know all men by these presents
that I J.H. Reitzel of the County of DeKalb State of In-
diana and Etta A. Reitzel the wife of said J.H. Reitzel
for and in Consideration of the premises and of One
dollar to them in hand paid have granted bargained
sold and Conveyed and by these presents do grant
bargain Sell and Convey unto the said J.L. Crisman
his heirs and assigns all the following described piece
parcel or tract of land situated lying and being in the
County of Alachua State of Florida to wit:
The South half of Lot 79 Leitner Plantation according
to Survey of said plantation by Wm C. Miller filed in the
Clerks office of Alachua Co Fla. And Contained in the
following meets and bounds. Starting at the South East Corner
of said lot 79 and running in a Northerly direction along
                   line
the eastern boundary^of said lot 79 a distance of Six
hundred and Sixty feet to a stake thence in a westerly
boundary line of said lot 79 to a stake on the western
boundary line of said lot 79 a distance of thirteen hun-
dred and twenty feet. Thence in a Southerly direction
along the Western boundary line of said lot 79 a dis-
tance of six hundred and sixty feet to the South
West Corner of said lot 79 thence along the Southern
boundary line of said lot 79 to the place of Starting
Containing by estimation Twenty acres of land more or
less. Together with all and singular the tenements hereditam-
ents and appurtenances to the Same belonging or in any
wise appertaining. To Have and to Hold the Same unto
the said J.L. Crisman his heirs and assigns forever.
Provided however and these presents are upon this
express condition that if the said J.H. Reitzel his heirs
or assigns Shall well and truly pay or cause to be
