or cause to be paid the sum of money Covenanted to be paid
by said note together with the interest to accrue thereon
according to the legal tenor and effect thereof then this
obligation shall become Null and void otherwise to
remain in full force and virtue. And it is hereby
further agreed and stipulated that the said John
W. Riggs and C.E. Riggs heirs or assigns will pay all
Costs expenses and attorneys fees which the said
James R. Crawford may be put to in enforcing the
Collection of the aforesaid sum of money Covenanted
to be paid by said Note by foreclosure or other-

C.E. Riggs his wife to me well known as the
persons described in and who executed the
foregoing Mortgage deed for the uses and
purposes therein mentioned and the said
the wife of the said John W. Riggs on an
examination taken and made separately
and apart from her said husband did
acknowledge before me that she made
herself a party to the said Conveyance for the
purpose of releasing relinquishing and ren-
ouncing her dower or right of dower in and to
the lands tenements and hereditaments therein
described and thereby Conveyed granted and
and released and that such releasing
relinquishment & renunciation of dower
is made by her freely and voluntarily and
without Constraint apprehension or fear of
or from her said husband
