Jackson and S.R. Jackson their heirs or assigns shall
well and truly pay or cause to be paid the sum of Money
Covenanted to be paid by said note together with the
interest to accrue thereon according to the legal tenor
and effect thereof then this obligation Shall become
null and void otherwise to remain in full force
and virtue. And it is hereby further agreed and
Stipulated that the said L.W. Jackson and S.R.
Jackson their heirs or assigns will pay all costs
expenses and attorneys fees which the said James
R. Crawford may be put to in enforcing the Col-
lection of the aforesaid Sum of money Covenanted
to be paid by said note by foreclosure or otherwise

Circuit Court in and for said State and County do hereby
do hereby Certify that on this 19th day of October AD
1883 before me personally appeared L.W. Jackson
and S.R. Jackson his wife to me well known as the
persons described in and who executed the foregoing
Mortgage Deed and Severally acknowledged the
execution thereof to be their free act and deed for
the uses and purposes therein mentioned and the said
the wife of the said L.W. Jackson on an examination
taken and made separately and apart from her said
husband did acknowledge before me that she made 
herself a party to the said Conveyance for the pur-
pose of Releasing relinquishing and renouncing
all her dower or right of dower in and to the lands
tenements and hereditaments therein described and thereby
granted and released and that such relinquishment
& Renunciation of dower is made by her freely and
voluntarily and without Constraint apprehension or
fear of or from her said husband
