Helen H. Walls wife of Josiah Walls who on being
examined by me separately and apart from her said
husband said and acknowledged before me that
she joined with her said husband in the execution
of the foregoing deed of Conveyance and made herself
a party thereto for the purpose of renouncing and
relinquishing her dower and right of dower and
that she made the same freely and voluntarily
and Without any Compulsion Constraint appre-
hension or fear of or from her said husband

    One day after date I promise to pay T.H. Bevill
or bearer Two hundred dollars with interest at ten

Alachua County   } Whereas I have this day purchased
of T.H. Bevill a Certain bay mare about three years old
and I am still due him the sum of Two hundred dollars
therefor with interest at ten per cent per annum agreeably
to the tenor and effect of a Certain promissory note
herewith annexed bearing even date with these presents
know all men by these presents that I hereby
mortgage to the said T.H. Bevill for the secure pay-
ment of said Sum and interest the said bay mare
and pledge myself not to part with sell or swap the
Said mare without the written consent of said T.H.
Bevill and if I should part with the possession
of said mare then this obligation is due and payable
and he shall have full power to seize said mare and
foreclose this instrument of Mortgage and should said
mare be injured or ill treated by me through Conlessness
or neglect - I agree to retain said mare and her increase
and pay the sum of five dollars per month for the
use of the same and to further secure him in the
payment of said Sum and interest. I pledge and
mortgage all my Crops of whatsoever description to
Susan B Glasheen
