Alachua County   ) Know all men by these pres-
ents That Whereas Jordan Huckleberry of the
above State and County is indebted to T. Harper
Bevill of the same State and County in the Sum
of One hundred and ten dollars which said Sum
is covenanted to be paid by a Certain promissory
note bearing date November 9th 1882 and for the
said Sum of one hundred and ten dollars bearing
interest at the rate of Ten per Cent. Now therefore
to better secure the payment of said note and in-
terest as expressed therein I do by these presents
grant bargain sell and Convey unto the said T.
Harper Bevill his heirs and assigns all my right
title interest and claim of in and to all the Crops
of whatsoever species kind or description now growing
or which may hereafter be planted grown or gathered
by me or for me or for my benefit on or off of any
and all lands in Alachua County Florida ^ during the
years 1883 and 1884 Also the following described property
to wit: one bey horse about ten years old called Tip and
one horse cart. To have and to hold all and Singular
the crops lands and personal property above bargained
and sold unto the said T. Harper Bevill his heirs execu-
tors administrators and assigns forever Provided neverthe-
less that if the said Jorden Huckleberry should well and
truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said T. Harper
Bevill the full amount of said note together with the
interest according to its tenor and effect then this in-
strument to be void else to remain in full force and
virtue. And it is hereby further agreed that should it
become necessary to enforce this instrument by legal
proceedings the said Jordan Huckleberry will pay therefor
all attorneys fees charges and expenses
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed my seal this Ninth day of November
