This Indenture made the Twenty second day of
August AD Eighteen hundred and Eighty three
between William E. Davies and his wife Mary J.
Davies of the County of Thomas and State of Georgia
of the first part and D. Kellog Baker and C. Alexr
Clark partners under the firm name and style
of Baker & Clark of New York County and State
of New York of the second part, Witnesseth that
the said parties of the first part for and in Consid-
eration of the Sum of ten Dollars to them in hand
paid by the said parties of the second part as well
as for the securing the payment of the Note herein-
after described hath granted bargained sold and
conveyed unto the said D. Kellog and C. Alexr Clark parties
as aforesaid their heirs and assigns all that tract
or parcel of land Situate lying and being in the
County of Alachua State of Florida known and dis-
tinguished as follows to wit: The SE1/4 of SW1/4 of
Section 32 Township 8 Range 14 East, Also North
1/2 of lot 5 Section 30 Township 8 Range 20 East 
Also North 1/2 of lots 1 and 2, Section 24 Township
8 Range 19 East: Also NE1/4 of NW1/4 of Sec 17
Township 7 Range 19 East Also E1/2 of NE1/4 of SE1/4
of Section 18 Township Range 17 Also NW1/4 & N1/2
and SE1/4 of SE1/4 the W1/2 of NE1/4 of Section 18
Township 9 Range 18 East: Also S1/2 of NW1/4 the
SW1/4 of NE1/4 the South 1/2 of SW1/4 the W1/2 of SE1/4 
the W1/2 of SW1/4the N1/2 of NW1/4 of Section 17 
Township 9 Range 18 Also lot 6 and S1/2 of lot 1

to take within the State of New York proof and acknowledgement of Deeds
Etc to be used and recorded in said State D. Kellogg Baker and Charles A.
Clark to me well known to be the persons who executed the foregoing
and Annexed instrument by them respectively sealed and subscribed
and the said D. Kellogg Baker & Charles A. Clark severally acknowledged 
the execution thereof to be their free act and deed for the uses and purposes
therein mentioned     In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand
and affixed my official seal the day and year first above written
