all and Singular the personal property above bar-
gained and sold unto the said G.D. Younglove & Son
heirs executors administrators and assigns forever
Provided nevertheless that if the said Morris Pink-
ney & Ann Pinkney should well and truly pay or
Cause to be paid unto the said G.D. Younglove & Son
the full amount of said note together with the interest
according to its tenor and effect then this instrument
to be void else to remain in full force and virtue
And it is hereby further agreed that should it become
necessary to enforce this instrument by legal proceeding
the said Morris & Ann Pinkney will pay therefore all attor-
neys fees and expenses. In Witness whereof we have here-

Peyton & Geo W. Burnett To Calvin Gillis
"Mortgage"
This Indenture made the 5th day of November one
thousand eight hundred and Eighty three between Peyton
Burnett and George W. Burnett parties of the first part
and Calvin Gillis party of the second part
Whereas the said parties of the first part are justly
indebted to the said Gillis party of the second
part in the Sum of one hundred and fifty dollars
lawful money of the United States of America with
interest to accrue evidenced by promissory note of which
the following is a copy "Novr 1883
Six months after date we or either of us promise to
pay C. Gillis or order the Sum of one hundred and
fifty dollars with interest at the rate of twelve per
cent per annum until paid Signed Peyton Burnett
