before me P.F. Wilson & his wife Willie M. Wilson to
me well known as the personas described in and who ex-
ecuted the foregoing Mortgage Deed and acknowledged
that they executed the same for the purpose therein
expressed. Whereupon it is prayed that the same

Alachua County   } This Indenture made this 22nd
day of August AD 1883 between James S. Pardue
(a widower) of the first part and L.L. Hill of the
second part all of the State and County aforesaid
Witnesseth that the said party of the first part
for and in Consideration of the Sum of Twenty
five hundred dollars the receipt whereof is here-
by acknowledged hath granted bargained sold
and Conveyed and by these presents doth grant
bargain sell and Convey unto the said party of
the second part all that certain lot tract piece
or parcel of land lying and being situate in
the State and County aforesaid and particularly
described as follows to wit: Beginning at a point
which is located on the half mile line running East
and West through Section Thirty one (31) in Township
Nine (9) South range (20) East and Fourteen hundred
and Sixty Six and two thirds (1466 2/3) feet West of
the Eastern boundary line of said Section and
from said starting point running North Seven hun-
dred and Forty two and a half feet thence West
to the run of "Hogtown Creek" Thence down the
middle of the run of said Creek to the point
at which the half mile line running East and
West through said section Thirty one (31) intersects
and Crosses the run of said "Creek" thence East
along said half mile line to the point of beginning
Containing Forty Three (43) acres of land more or less
Together with all the rights privileges and appurtenan-
ces to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining
