To have and to hold the same unto the said
party of the second part and to his heirs ex-
ecutors and administrators and assigns forever in fee
simple absolute and the said party of the first 
part does hereby also bargain sell and deliver
unto the said party of the Second part two large
dark brown or black mules and one two horse wagon
together with the harness gear and equipments there-
unto belonging To have and to hold the Same unto
him the said party of the Second part and to his and
their proper use benefit and behoof.
The Conditions of this Conveyance and Bill of Sale
are such that whereas the said party of the first
part has this day made and delivered to the said
party of the second part his Certain promissory
note bearing even date herewith for the sum of
Twenty five hundred ($250000) dollars with
interest thereon at the rate of Eight per cent (8%}
per annum and payable on or before the first
day of January AD 1886. Now if the said party of
the first part shall well and truly pay or cause
to be paid unto the said party of the second part
the said Sum of money mentioned in the said
promissory note together with the accrued interest
thereon at or before the maturity of the said note
then this Conveyance and bill of Sale shall become and
be entirely null and void else to remain in full force
virtue and effect
