     George W. Hawthorn To Ella Hawthorn
                "Mortgage"
This Indenture made the 26th day of October in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and Eighty Three Between George W.
Hawthorn of the County of Alachua and State of Florida party of
the first part and Ella Hawthorn of said State and County of
the second part, Whereof the said George W. Hawthorn is
Justly indebted to Ella Hawthorn party of the second part in
the sum of Four Hundred Dollars lawful money of the United 
States of America as will more fully appear by his note of
even date herewith for the better securing of which this
mortgage is given. Now this Indenture Witnesseth, That the said
party of the first part for the better securing the payment
of the said sum of money mentioned in said note and
Mortgage and also for and in consideration of the sum
of one Dollar to him in hand paid by the said party
of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery
of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
has granted bargained sold aliened remised released conveyed
and confirmed and by these presents does grant bargain
sell alien remise release convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part and to her heirs and assigns
forever, All the South East Quarter of Section Eleven
Township Ten South Range Twenty Two East also the
South East Quarter of the North East Quarter of Section
Eleven Range Twenty Two South and East containing Two
Hundred acres more or less Together with all and singular
the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and
reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits
thereof and also all the estate right title interest dower
and right of dower separate estate property possession
claim and demand whatsoever as well in law as in equity

For and in consideration of the full payment of the sum of
money secured by the within Mortgage I hereby cancel and dis
charge the  same from record this 16th day of May AD 1887
