are Justly indebted to the said Robert Morrison party of the
second part in the sum of Two Thousand Dollars lawful money of
the United States with Interest to accrue evidenced by
promissory notes of which the following is a copy
$50000 Twelve months after date we promise to pay to Robert Morrison
or order the sum of Five Hundred Dollars with interest at the rate
of 10 per ct per annum till paid for value received this 26th day of

One note^also for Five Hundred Dollars due Two years after date with
interest from date dated Oct 26th 1883 and one for Five 
Hundred Dollars due Three Years after date with 10 per ct Inst
from date dated Oct 26th 1883 and one for five Hundred dollars
Due Four years after date with interest at 10 pr ct pr annum
   Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said parties of
the first part for securing the payment of the said moneys
mentioned in the said promissory notes and moneys herein
mentioned and in consideration of the sum of One dollar
to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part
at or before the delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold released
conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant
bargain sell release convey and confirm  unto the said party
of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever all the
following described land situate in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida Lot number Three (3) as described on a map of
recent Survey by W.L. Sims being a portion of Section Thirteen
(13) in Township Nine (9) and Range Twenty Two (22) East as as
described on the maps of public survey of said State. The 
boundary lines of said lot No Three (3) are as follows
Commencing at the side of Quail Street in the town of Melrose
on the Bellamy Road & running South 81ยบ west 2.46 chains
to South East corner of said lot from this corner running
North twenty chains and fifty links to Santa Fe Lake Beginning
again at the said corner Styled the South East corner
running west along the Bellamy road Seven chains to South
West of Lot thence North Twenty Six chains and forty two
links to Santa Fee lake containing Fourteen and Six one
hundredths acres (14 06/100) Together with all and singular the
tenements houses and improvements thereon and thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining and all reversions
remainders homesteads rights issues and profits thereof
and also all the estate right title interest property
possession claim and demand whatsoever as well in law as
in equity of the said parties of the first part of in and to
the same and every parcel thereof with the appurtenances
To have and to hold the above granted and described
premises unto the said party of the second part his heirs
