And it is hereby further agreed that should it become necessary
to enforce this instrument by legal proceedings the said Clifton 
& Yorick will pay therefor all attorney's fees and expenses

State of Florida  } Know all men by these Presents that we 
County of Alachua } James Washington and Mary Ann
Washington his wife who Joins in this Mortgage for the
purpose of renouncing and relinquishing all her Dower and
right of Dower in and to the property hereinafter described
parties of the first part and Clarence Stringfellow party of
the second part all of the parties of the First and Second
part being Citizens and residents of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida Witnesseth that the parties of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and 
twenty five dollars to them in hand paid by the party of
the second part and for the further consideration of
Securing the payment to the party of the second part
according to its tenor and effect a certain promissory
note bearing even date with these presents In the words
and figures following to wit: Gainesville Florida November 25th
AD 1883. On or before the First of November AD 1884 I
promise to pay to the order of Clarence Stringfellow One
Hundred and Twenty five dollars value received interest
at the rate of of (12) Twelve per annum from date until
paid. We Have this day mortgaged & do by these
Presents Mortgage unto the said party of the second
