  David Davis to Shederick and Catherine Brown
               "Mortgage"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that we
Alachua County   } David Davis and Amelia Davis of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida for and in consideration of the
sum of Fifty Dollars ($5000) to us in hand paid by Shedrick and
Catherine Brown of the same County and State do sell and
convey unto the said Shedrick and Catherine Brown one Bay
Stallion horse - name Bunarm and one Sorrel mare name
Nellie warranted free from all incumbrances and against any
adverse claims. Upon Condition that if the said David Davis
and Amelia Davis pay to the said Shedrick and Catherine
Brown Fifty Dollars ($5000) at eight per cent interest from
date on the first day of November AD 1884 agreeably to a
promissory note of this date for that sum payable to the
said Shedrick and Catherine Brown or Bearer with interest
this deed shall be void otherwise in full force and effect
the aforesaid Parties Agree that until the condition is
Broken the said property may remain in possession of the
said David Davis and Amelia Davis but after condition is
Broken the said Shedrick and Catherine Brown may at their
pleasure take and remove the same and may enter into
any buildings or premises of the said David Davis and
Amelia Davis for that purpose. Witness our hands and seals
this the 24th day of November AD 1883
