One hundred and six 76/100 Dollars value received with interest at twelve

   Know all men by these presents that we hereby Mortgage to T.H. Bevill
a certain Bay mare with a white Spot on one side Called Spot age
about nine years, and all the crops to be raised by us during the
years AD 1884 and 1885 also also forty acres of land bought of Frank
Palmer in SW Corner of Section one 1 T10 R18 To Secure the
payment of the above note for one hundred and six 76/100 Dollars
and Interest bearing even date with these presents to the said
T.H. Bevill we also agree if the above claim has to be collected
by legal process to pay all reasonable cost and attornies fees
