W.A. Hinshaw To Constine & DuBose
                  "Agreement"
An Agreement made and entered into by and between W.A. Hinshaw of
Clio, S.C. of the one part and C. Constine & E.C. DuBose of the other
part Witnesseth that the said W.A. Hinshaw agree to furnish said Constine
& DuBois the following articles, viz, One 20 Inch Economist Plainer &
matches complete to be ready for delivery on car at Buffalo N.Y. on or
about September 10th 1883 for the consideration of the payment of Two
Hundred and Seventy five Dollars as follows One half in thirty days
from date of delivery of Machinery as above mentioned Ballance
November 1st 1884. Note to bear date of Bill of Lading with 7 per cent
interest added. The Condition of the above Contract is that the legal
title and right of property in and to the above described property is
to remain and be vested in W.A. Hinshaw until the said notes and all
interest thereon accrued is paid off and in case the said Constine
& DuBose should fail to pay off the amount due by the said notes
or either of them at maturity then it shall be lawful for the said
W.A. Hinshaw to take possession of the said property at any time
after the maturity of the said notes or either of them: but in case
the said notes are paid off then the title of said property to vest
in the said Constine & DuBose W.A. Hinshaw warrant the above
described Machinery to be of good material and workmanship and
to perform in a Satisfactory manner when properly used
It is understood that no Warranty or verbal understanding of any
kind exists in regard to the present contract other than what is
herein expressly stated. In Witness Whereof the parties hereunto
have set their hands this 13th day of August AD 1883

within agreement for the uses and purposes therein contained
and that he with A.J. Graham witnesses the execution thereof
