to the legal tenor and effect thereof then this obligation shall
become null and void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue
And it is hereby further agreed and Stipulated that the said
L.W. Jackson and Susan R. Jackson their heirs and assigns
will pay all costs expenses and attorney's fees which the said
A.J. Hinds may be put to in enforcing the Collection of the
aforesaid sum of money covenanted to be paid by said note by
foreclosure or otherwise. In Witness Whereof We have hereunto set

in and for said State and County do hereby certify that on
this 1st day of December AD 1883 before me personally appeared
L.W. Jackson and Susan R. Jackson his wife to me well known
as the persons described in and who executed the foregoing
Mortgage Deed and severally acknowledged the execution thereof to
be their free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein
mentioned and the said Susan R. Jackson the wife of the
said L.W. Jackson on the examination taken and made separately
and apart from her said husband did acknowledge before me
that she made herself a party to the said conveyance for the
purpose of Releasing Relinquishing & renouncing her dower and
right of dower in and to the lands tenements and hereditaments
therein described and thereby granted and released and that
such Release and renunciation of her dower and right of dower
is made by her freely and voluntarily and without constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband.
