to be their free act and deed for the uses and purposes therein
mentioned and the said M.L. Oliver the wife of the said
P.M. Oliver on an examination taken and made separately and
apart from her said husband did acknowledge before me that
she made herself a party to the said conveyance for the
purpose of conveying her separate Estate in and to the lands
tenements and hereditaments therein described and thereby
granted and released and that such conveying of her personal
and separate Estate is made by her freely and voluntarily
and without constraint apprehension or fear of or from her

     Morris Pinkney and Wife to D.G. Younglove & Son
                  "Mortgage"
State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that whereas
Alachua County   } we Morris Pinkney and Ann Pinkney of the
above State and county in the sum of Eighty dollars which
the said sum is covenanted to be paid by his certain
promissory note bearing date December 3rd 1883 and for the
said sum of Eighty dollars bearing interest at the rate of
12% per annum & payable Nov 1st 1884 Now therefore to better
secure the payment of said note and interest as expressed
therein we do by these presents grant bargain sell and
convey unto said D.J. Younglove & Son their heirs and
assigns all my right title interest and claim of in and 
to the following described property to wit: One Bay Mare
about 8 years old One Buggy & Harness. To Have and to Hold
all and singular the crops lands and personal property
above bargained and sold unto the said D.G. Younglove &
Son heirs executors administrators and assigns forever
Provided nevertheless that if the said Morris Pinkney & wife
should well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the
said G.D. Younglove the full amount of said note
together with the interest according to its tenor and
effect then this instrument to be void else to remain in full
force and virtue. And it is hereby further agreed that should
it become necessary to enforce this instrument by legal
proceedings the said Morris Pinkney & Wife will pay therefor
all attorney's fees and expenses. In Witness Whereof we
