Adolph F. Vogelback and Wife To George Field
                        "Mortgage"
This Indenture made this ninth day of November in the year of our
Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eighty three between Adolph F.
Vogelback & his Wife Emma F. Vogelback of Melrose Alachua Co Fla of
the first part & George Field of the second part Whereas the said
Parties of the first part are Justly indebted to George Field of
Clay County State of Florida of the second part in the sum of Two
thousand Dollars lawful money of the United States of America as
Evidenced by their promissory notes in words and figures as follows
to wit: "Jackson Fla Nov 9th 1883" $2000" Three years after date we
promise to pay to George Field or order Two Thousand dollars with
interest at the rate of ten per cent per annum payable semiannually
Principal to be come due upon failure to pay interest as aforesaid
Homestead and all other exemptions granted by the constitution and
laws of the State of Florida are hereby expressly waived as against this

Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part
for the better securing the payment of the said sum of money mentioned in
said promissory note and also for and in consideration of the sum
of Ten Dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second
part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold
aliened resigned released conveyed and confirmed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell alien remise release convey and confirm
unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns
forever, all that certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and
being in the Town of Melrose County of Alachua State of Fla
and known and described as follows to wit, Part of Lot five (5) in
Section No thirteen (13) according to a map of the recorded
survey of W.L. Sims and further known as "Oakland" being the present
homestead of said parties of the first part and containing
twenty one acres of land more or less. Together with all and
singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion
and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues
and profits thereof And also all the estate right title interest
property possession claim and demand whatsoever as well in
law as in equity of the said parties of the first part of in and
to the same and every part and parcel thereof with the appurten=
ances To have and to hold the above granted and described premises
unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns their
own proper use benefit and behoof forever. Provided Always and these
presents are upon this express condition that if the said parties of the
first part their heirs executors or administrators shall well and truly pay
unto the said parties of the second part his heirs executors or administrators
or assigns the said sum of money mentioned in said promissory
