according to its tenor and effect then this instrument to be void else
to remain in full force and virtue. And it is hereby further agreed
that should it become necessary to enforce this instrument by legal
proceedings the said John Hill will pay therefor all attorneys

Josiah T. Walls To Isaac Saunders
"Mortgage"
State of Florida } Whereas I Josiah T. Walls of the aforesaid
Alachua County } State and County am indebted unto
Isaac Saunders of the City of Scituate in the State
of Rhode Island in the sum of one thousand Dollars by
my promissory note bearing even date with these
presents which said note is payable on or before April 20th
1886 and bears interest from date at the rate of Eight (08) per
cent per annum payable annually and the said note
being given by me for the purchase money of a part of the
land hereinafter described - and whereas I am desirous of fully
securing the payment of said promissory note = Therefore the
premises considered Know all men by these presents that we
the said Josiah T. Walls and Ellen T. Walls his wife who
Joins in this instrument for the purpose of relinquishing
all right and claim to Dower in and to the lands hereinafter
described for and in consideration of the premises and of
the said sum of money so owing by my promissory note
aforesaid have granted bargained, sold, conveyed and mortgaged
and by these presents do grant bargain sell convey and
mortgage unto him the said Isaac Saunders all of that
certain tract piece or parcel of land containing Two (200) acres
