G.W. Martin to A.G. Bigelow     
          "Mortgage"
            Contract sale
State of Florida }
Columbia County  } Know all men by these presents
that I George W. Martin of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida for and in Consideration of A.G. Big-
elow furnishing me with supplies amounting to Sixty
dollars (granting to him the said A.G. Bigelow the priv-
ilege of in increasing or diminishing said amount) to carry
on my farming interest for the year 1882 and the Sum
of one dollar to me in hand paid and my present indebted-
ness at and before the sealing and delivery of these pres-
ents hath bargain sold and delivered and by these
presents doth bargain Sell and deliver to him my bay
horse "Rob" Black Horse "Jim" my Bay Mule "Jack" and all
Crops owned grown or controlled by me the present year
& this property is free from all incumbrances, in said County
and State, to have and to hold the said bargained property
to him the said A.G. Bigelow and his executors and
administrators forever; hereby warranting and defending
the title to the same against myself and all other persons
whatsoever, and waiving all claims of homestead or other
exemptions to the same; and I further bind myself to
pay all costs and damages that may accrue to the
said A.G. Bigelow by a failure on my part to deliver
to him a sufficient amount of the proceeds made on
my farm to re-imburse him for the amount advanced
and also for his expense in recovering the property hereby
hired of him to cultivate the Same.
