that the parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum
of three hundred and Sixty Eight (36800) Dollars to them in hand
paid by the party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and by these presents
does grant and convey to him the party of the second part his heirs
& assigns forever the following described Lands Situated in Alachua
County Florida in Moses E. Levy 20,000 acre Grant in Lot No 10
commencing Forty (40) chains^North from South East corner said lot run
West fifteen (15) chains thence North forty (40) chains Thence East
fifteen (15) chains. Thence South forty (40) chains to point of beginning
containing Sixty (60) acres with the appurtenances and improvements
thereunto belonging together with all the title and rights of the said
party of the first part thereto. This grant is intended as a security
for the payment of a note of three hundred & Sixty (36800) Dollars
dated October 1st 1883 and due January 1st 1884 signed by Delphia A. Hart
& D.C. Hart which payment if duly made will render this
conveyance void but if default shall be made in the payment
of above described note then the said John J. Barr party of the second
part his heirs executors or assigns are hereby authorized to sell the
lands above described and granted to satisfy amount mentioned (36800}
together with all costs & expenses to Collect the same also interest
on the #36800 at twelve per cent per annum from Jan 1st 1884

Estate and she did if freely and voluntarily without any
fear of or from her said husband D.C. Hart and she did it for
the purposes mentioned in said mortgage
