J.B. Lewis To A.G. Bigelow
          Contract sale

Columbia County  } Know all men by these presents
That I J.B. Lewis of the County of Alachua and
State of Florida for and in Consideration of A.G. Bigelow
furnishing me with Supplies amounting to Two hundred
& Fifty dollars (granting to him the said A.G. Bigelow the
privilege of increasing or diminishing said amount) to
carry on my farming interest for the year 1882 and the Sum
of one dollar to me in hand paid and my present indebted-
ness at and before the Sealing and delivery of these presents
hath bargained sold and delivered and by these presents
doth bargain Sell and deliver to him my red mule
"Eliza" Bay mule "Mike" Mouse colored mule *Queen" Black
mule "Jack, Bay mule "Scott" & all crops owned grown or controlled
by me the present year, in said County and State to have and
to hold the said bargained property to him the said
A.G. Bigelow and his executors and administrators for
ever; hereby warranting and defending the title to the
Same against myself and all other persons whatsoever
and waiving all claims of homestead or exemptions to
the same; and I further bind myself to pay all Costs
and damages that may accrue to the said A.G. Bigelow
by a failure on my part to deliver to him a sufficient
amount of the proceeds made on my farm to re-im-
burse him for the amount advanced and also for his
expenses in recovering the property hereby hired of him
to Cultivate the same
Signed Sealed and delivered this 10th day of March 1882
